Low-income communities are disproportionately affected, often lacking access to cooling infrastructure and affordable energy, while urban areas across all income levels are experiencing rising utility costs and heat-related risks. RefleXion is a climate-tech initiative that addresses this challenge head-on by transforming everyday surfaces into tools for both passive cooling and clean energy generation. We plan to offer a variety of three innovative products designed to serve a wide range of markets. ReflecSpray offers an affordable, DIY reflective coating that empowers households, schools, and nonprofits to reduce heat and energy costs easily. Unlike competitors who focus only on large-scale solutions, ReflecSpray brings passive cooling directly to communities often overlooked, making climate protection accessible and practical. ReflecBulk is formulated for large-scale infrastructure projects, helping municipalities, commercial buildings, and public institutions reduce surface temperatures across city blocks. Meant to be bought in bulk, ReflecBulk is a cost-effective alternative to ReflecSpray for wider projects. ReflecTile, our flagship product, is a premium modular tile designed for high-income consumers and green developers. It reflects heat on the surface while capturing solar energy through integrated panels underneath, providing both cooling and localized energy generation. This multi-tiered product line enables RefleXion to scale across traditional boundaries, meeting the needs of diverse communities while maximizing environmental impact. Our solutions are non-toxic, cost-effective, and engineered for rapid deployment in both residential and urban settings. Our team is conducting ongoing R&D to optimize reflectivity, durability, and energy storage capabilities across all products. We are also developing a digital platform that includes a user-friendly website and mobile app, which will enable customers to track temperature changes, monitor energy savings, and visualize their environmental impact in real time. RefleXion’s mission will not just be to cool the planet, but will ensure that every person—regardless of income or geography—has access to affordable, sustainable climate protection. We envision a world where walls, rooftops, and sidewalks do more than just exist; they defend, empower, and generate.
