The Concept: The Barometric Distillation Tower Low-Pressure Vacuum Chamber: Instead of "negative gravity" (which we haven't physically mastered), we use the barometric effect. If you build a vertical column over 10 meters tall, the weight of the water creates a natural vacuum at the top. At this ultra-low pressure, seawater boils at room temperature. Gradient Suction: The low pressure at the top of the tower draws the seawater upwards. Upon reaching the expansion chamber, the water vaporizes instantly (flash evaporation) without the need for intense heat. Phase Separation: Vapor (Freshwater): Being a gas, it rises and travels to a condenser cooled by the deep seawater itself (which is cold), becoming liquid water ready for consumption. Brine: The minerals and salt do not evaporate. Due to their weight and density, they fall into a separate drainage pipe that returns them to the ocean. "Negative Gravity" Simulation: The use of high-speed centrifuges at the base or powerful magnets (diamagnetism) could help "push" the water upwards or repel the salt ions, simulating that force against gravity that you mention to accelerate the process.
