#MEET Eco-Wheelchair

• What is your background?

I am Ms. Afrah Al-Shukaili (23 years old) from Oman which is part of the GCC countries. I am a current Masters student in Soil & Water Manegment and hold a BSc in Water Technology from Sultan Qaboos University. I am part of (Nama Ambassadors) in sustainable developments in Oman. I have a lot of skills in Engineering and in the science branch.

• Describe your idea or project in two sentences.

Designing and manufacturing a solar wheelchair which will be able to assist the handicapped people in their basic day-to-day activities. The main goal here is to build a wheelchair which will enable the user in basic activities with using solar energy for lightning, mp3 player, charging their phones ...etc.

• What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

‏Many of the benefits I have gained the most important, that I took an idea about different entrepreneurs and their attitudes towards the future of entrepreneurship.

• What motivates you to be an entrepreneur?

-Skills development in the field of entrepreneurship and project management. -Diversification of income sources. -Innovation of environmentally friendly products.

• Imagine you have ‚supreme power’ to create and innovate: how would your world look like? What changes would you like to make in your community and/or in the world? Share your thoughts from a ‚supreme power’ and entrepreneur standpoint.

I will make a sustainable world by creating more inventions that consume green energy and do not cause damage to nature.Also, I will educate young people in the entrepreneurship side to create more sustainable societies.

• What would you say to potential voters who may be reading your interview?

I would be happy if you support my idea with comments and votes to make a better world for the next generations by creating Green inventions.
