1. Please, tell us a bit about yourself: where are you from and what is your background?

My names are Agbo Jocelyne. Am a social entrepreneur and a computer scientist. I am from Nigeria, was born and raised in a small farming community, Ngo Okpala in Imo state. I know first hand the plight of small holder farmers in rural communities.
Am a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow, studied business and entrepreneurship in the University of Wisconsin Stout, USA. My passion is youths and low-income families. Farm on Wheels is my baby and I will see it grow and impact millions of people.
I love to read, travel and mentor young entrepreneurs.

2. Can you describe your idea or project in two sentences?

Farm on wheels’ is a direct distribution line of big trucks that will convey quality seeds and fertilizers and at the same time hold short training for small holder farmers on modern farm practices such as a microdosing technique for effective use of the fertilizer and quality seeds distributed.

3. How did you get your idea or concept?

I grew up in a farming community and I know the challenges they have mainly is unavailability of farm resources and low yield. On growing up, I served in another farm community after graduation and realized that they are experiencing the same challenge. I thought of how to solve this problem and came up with Farm On Wheels.

4. What is unique about your idea/project and how does it benefit mankind?

Farm on Wheels is unique because it gives the small holder farmers access to farm resources and modern farm practices within their various communities. No need to travel to urban areas for resources thereby reducing cost and increasing their annual yield.

5. Describe yourself as an entrepreneur in one sentence

I see a solution where others see a problem, innovative in creating solutions and resilient in implementation.
