This is a short interview we conducted with Abugu Eugene Kasiemobi, the founder of “Institute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Centre”. If you like the concept of this idea and would like to vote for it, click HERE.


 

  • What is your background? (Nationality, age, education, field of work). Please tell us your full name and the name of your project.

My name is Abugu Eugene Kasiemobi from Nigeria, a lad of 31 years, a graduate of economics and computer science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, awka and federal polytechnic oko respectively and I am an agro-allied and social entrepreneur. I am the initiator ofInstitute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Centre (IEEDC).

  • Describe your idea or project in two sentences.

My idea "institute of entrepreneurship and enterprise development Centre (ieedc)" will be an institute that will produce the next generation of entrepreneurs with the learning while doing approach and free tuition for all full-time students who will generate income through their innovations and production while in the process of learning.

  • What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

Entrepreneurship campus have given me an avenue to showcase my idea and networked me with great young innovator from the world and kept my faith alive as their contest gives me hope that my idea is worth the time and can be funded.

  • What motivates you to be an entrepreneur?

My quest to solve the problem of unemployment and create jobs and help my fellow youth leave white collar job and join entrepreneurship to alleviate poverty, create decent jobs and reduce unemployment.

  • Imagine you have ‚supreme power’ to create and innovate: how would your world look like? What changes would you like to make in your community and/or in the world? Share your thoughts from a ‚supreme power’ and entrepreneur standpoint.

If i have supreme power to create and innovate, I will create free tuition entrepreneurship institute and make policies that all will be an entrepreneurship animal so that when you are still a students you are creating a products and becoming independent.

  • What would you say to potential voters who may be reading your interview?

Please my dear voters, kindly vote my idea so that together we can make it a reality and enjoin the first African free tuition institute of entrepreneurship and enterprise development Centre.

Great interview. I hope you are keeping the wings moving and are creative positive visibility for the campus competition.

Campus members, we have a responsibility to let other know about this great opportuntity for young people to become entrepreneurs.
