#MEET Snails Evolutionized

- What is your background? (Nationality, age, education, field of work)
I am a Nigerian, age 29. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in geology and specialist "ABC" of shipping and maritime studies. Other experiences for growth and development includes partaker of the one-year mandatory National Youth Services Corps, attendee First Bank of Nigeria SME connect national conference, British council creative industries exhibition and dignify Africa digital training workshop session. I am by name Dielamo Miederi Oyeghe and works on an entrepreneurship field of SNAILS EVOLUTIONIZED which is also my idea.
- Describe your idea or project in two sentences.
Snails evolutionized involves the use of snails for food provision, its extracts for cosmetic production and the recycling(grounding) of its shells for use by the crops, poultry and livestock farmers. The products first point of contact with its customers is from a big ultramodern shop called the SNAIL SHOP where all varieties of the snail is made available, and they will also be exported to regions that are in higher demand of them.
- What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?
The entrepreneurship campus has further inflamed my passion on entrepreneurship. Further knowledge and experiences has been gained from the campus courses and the idea/project interaction with campus members.
- What motivates you to be an entrepreneur?
The desire for innovation, industrialization and agricultural evolution of my state. The passion for employment generation, self-sufficiency and sustainability.
- Imagine you have ‚supreme power’ to create and innovate: how would your world look like? What changes would you like to make in your community and/or in the world? Share your thoughts from a ‚supreme power’ and entrepreneur standpoint.
If I would have a supreme power, I will end hunger and eradicate food insecurity. Hunger and food insecurity is a major problem affecting millions of people in many countries of the world.
- What would you say to potential voters who may be reading your interview?
Your single vote is the lifeline of this idea. An initiative that work towards changing the perception on agriculture and promotes the green revolution with little or no greenhouse gas effect. All I need is your support. Thank you.
