Post harvest losses are a major concern to farmers my country Nigeria. Mangoes, yams, tomatoes, vegetables of all kinds, rice, onions, fresh fish just to mention a few are lost to poor handling and storage after harvest. To ensure enough food supply for the world, solutions have to be brought to reduce post harvest losses here and all over the world where such problems exist.
