Social Impact Entrepreneur and Industrial Engineer. Gunduz, a child raised in various Anatolian cities, is deeply concerned about educational inequality. From the age of 16, she subsequently gained over 10,000 hours of field experience working with various NGOs and startups. As part of the Science Movement project, which currently serves 627,421 children, she organised science workshops with children and young people in disadvantaged regions of Türkiye. She designed the Role Model Teachers Educational Program, which has reached more than 3000 teachers across Türkiye in various provinces and disciplines, and has provided them with interdisciplinary training.
She has also worked on the digital transformation of publishing, producing and content editing, and has produced more than 10 digital programs. Today marks the two-year anniversary of the launch of Podkids.
Podkids is a safe, AI- and game-based media learning platform that empowers children to be conscious digital creators. Through podcasts, videos, and peer projects, children develop 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and media literacy. The platform integrates courses, mentorship, and community, while supporting parents and schools with guides and workshops. Podkids is an innovative programme designed to nurture the digital literacy skills of children while fostering a sense of safety, creativity and responsibility in the digital age. Podkids was also finalists in major national awards such as the Ibrahim Bodur Awards and Garanti BBVA Women Entrepreneurs Award. Also Podkids was winner of the Social Impact Award at 2024.
