Jenny is project manager at Bertelsmann Stiftung, where she works to strengthen impact-oriented entrepreneurship that advances solutions for societal challenges while promoting democratic participation. A political scientist and sociologist, she brings more than fifteen years of international experience across research, teaching, civil society and project development. Before joining the foundation in 2024, she taught and conducted research at Roskilde University’s Centre for Social Entrepreneurship (Denmark), exploring social innovation, the social and solidarity economy, participatory governance and the co-creation of public goods. Her work connects academic insight with practical action, bringing together social entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers and civil society and support organisations to advance solutions for societal challenges and democratic participation.
