
Biografie
Born in Merzifon in 1982, Tuğberk Seçkin completed his undergraduate education in 2005 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. After completing his education, he began his professional career, working in middle management positions in the “Production Planning and Logistics” and “Strategic Planning” departments at various companies in the provinces of İzmir and Manisa.
In 2007, he moved to Istanbul and continued working as an Entrepreneurship Projects Manager at a private consulting firm. During this time, he provided management consulting services to SMEs in a total of 38 different provinces, managed numerous local and national entrepreneurship projects, delivered entrepreneurship training, and provided business plan and feasibility consulting to individual entrepreneur candidates. He also published a paper at an international conference; conducted Local Development and Labor Market Analysis Studies in Hatay, Tekirdağ, Bartın, Eskişehir, Bayburt, Trabzon, and Denizli; implemented the Women's Business Development Center Project in Kütahya and Istanbul; managed the Youth Entrepreneurship Project in 17 provinces, two Franchising Deployment Projects, and the “My Homeland, My Anatolia, My Business, My Technology” Techno-Entrepreneur Project with AVEA and TOG; served as an instructor and consultant in the “Idea of My Life” project organized in 10 provinces with AVEA and TOG; and managed the “My Homeland, My Anatolia, My Business, My Technology” Techno-Entrepreneur project. “My Homeland Anatolia, My Business Technology” Techno-Entrepreneur project; served as a trainer and consultant in the “Idea of My Life” project organized in 10 provinces with AVEA and TOG; and participated in the project titled “Entrepreneurship as a Solution to Unemployment: Analysis of the Entrepreneurial Potential of the Unemployed in Istanbul Province.” Throughout his career, he has written a total of 9 books, including sectoral studies, served as Editor-in-Chief of the “Entrepreneurship Climate” magazine, and received the “Best European Study Award” in 2011.
In 2012, he established Çizgi Dışı Girişim (Offline Entrepreneurship) at the Eskişehir Anadolu University Technology Development Zone, which he described as “the new version of consulting,” and began working to realize “Child Entrepreneurship,” which he has believed in and worked on for a long time. Finally, he published Turkey's first children's entrepreneurship book, titled “A Journey into Entrepreneurship,” through TÜBİTAK Popular Science Publications.
Throughout his career, he has created brands such as Paytolia, GPay, Paybrothers, Payogi, Paraturca, Payburger in the field of financial technologies, and Pharmatolia in the field of e-commerce, exiting many of them with valuations in the millions of dollars.
Tuğberk Seçkin continues his activities in the fintech sector with the Payburger brand, in agriculture with Agroturca, in digitalization in foreign trade with Interzoon, in children's media with Podkids, and in edtech with Hmmm.
