Dr. Christoph Winkler is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship at Baruch College at the City University of New York (CUNY), where he also serves as the Associate Director of the CUNY Institute for Virtual Enterprise (IVE). In that capacity, he successfully built an entrepreneurship simulation network that uses technology to engage entrepreneurship students across the globe. In addition, he serves as the Director for Technology, Innovation and Research at the newly founded CUNY Center for Student Entrepreneurship (CSE), a CUNY student incubator/accelerator program. Professor Winkler’s research focuses on entrepreneurial learning and social cognition, entrepreneurship education, incubation, and entrepreneurship ecosystems. His work and accomplishments have been recognized through awards from The City University of New York (CUNY), IBM, National Associate of Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE), National Science Foundation (NSF), and United States Associate of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE). Professor Winkler holds graduate degrees in Business Education (Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria) and Educational Psychology (CUNY Graduate Center), as well as a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center.
