Regina works at the intersection of tech and social good: as an entrepreneur, public speaker, mentor, educator, researcher and an advocate for openness and inclusion. She has worked with 100+ social-tech startups worldwide. She is a PhD Candidate, researching social innovation in critical technical practice and works as a Scientific Staff Member at the Technical University Berlin, focusing on social innovation and critical technical practice. She is the Founder and Director of the Social-Digital Innovation Initiative, facilitating, promoting and supporting the cross-pollination of the world of technology and social entrepreneurship and the creation of financially sustainable social businesses. Previously, she had supported the Ashoka Foundation’s digital strategy and for almost 7 years, managed the United Nations’ ITU Young Innovators Program.
