Description
Every year, the food industry discards millions of tons of citrus waste, contributing to resource loss and environmental challenges. Our innovative solution optimizes the extraction of essential oils from citrus peels, addressing traditional method limitations such as time inefficiency, molecular degradation, and secondary impurities. This eco-friendly alternative not only enhances the quality of essential oils but also minimizes waste, creating high-value products while reducing the environmental footprint.
Expertise
Zouhair Kharoua, an engineering student, an employee in CDS, and a student of the German language.
I've always been fascinated by technological innovations since I was a child, but I never imagined my self aspiring to be a contributor in this field. When I got into university, science and technology was the obvious choice.
Then in my second year, I joined a scientific club named UMCBOT, there I found incredible, curious-minded people that I got benefit and inspiration from. By the second year, I became the president of that club for 2 years. That was an incredibly fun experience, with multiple initiatives and experiences along the way that really helped hone my hard and soft skills.
What I got really into, and I'm exploring even further, even to this day, was product management and design, project management, reading and writing, programming and prototyping, AI, Data science, Teaching and content creation, and Personal Knowledge Management.
What I'm considering right now is Web app development and Economics.
Now I'm in my final year in university, and I'm working on multiple business ventures in various fields and with diverse people with different knowledge, specialties, and expertise.
