Description
** STILL IN IDEA STAGE: The youtube video is merely a visual depiction of the envisioned UI for the potential app TremorScan. The app is not yet coded and what's shown in the hyperlinked youtube video is only the draft UI for the app. **
TremorScan is an envisioned AI-powered digital health platform currently in the conceptual and development stage, and has not yet been implemented or launched. It is designed to enable users to upload handwriting images for the purpose of analyzing and assessing tremor severity. Leveraging emerging machine learning and image processing techniques, TremorScan aims to accurately detect signs of neurological tremors, supporting early diagnosis of movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease and Essential Tremor.
The envisioned platform will generate comprehensive and accessible reports featuring tremor severity scores, confidence metrics, and sample quality assessments, enhanced with visually intuitive charts and progress indicators. Developed in close collaboration with clinicians and neurologists, TremorScan aspires to ensure medical reliability while maintaining a user-friendly interface.
Planned future features include optional virtual consultations with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient-clinician engagement and timely intervention. Data privacy and security are key priorities, with compliance to healthcare standards for encryption and anonymization being integral to the design.
TremorScan’s goal is to empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by reducing diagnostic delays and improving management of movement disorders through early detection and ongoing monitoring. Currently, TremorScan exists as a prototype and concept, with development underway to validate its assessments and build clinical partnerships.
