Description

Approximately 63% of college students consume an insufficient amount of fruits and vegetables, leading to decreased energy levels and health risks. FreshFlow solves this growing health crisis by providing college students with 100% fresh and organic fruits and vegetables in convenient, ready to eat packaging...for free! But how? FreshFlow generates a profit by operating on a dual sided business model targeting two different groups of customers: college students and companies/businesses seeking advertising opportunities. Companies such as local businesses pay to place their advertisements directly on the boxes used to package our products. While YouTube ads are skipped, posters are ignored, FreshFlow advertisements are physically held, viewed for at least 5-10 minutes, and tied to a positive experience (eating), ensuring guaranteed, high activity ad-engagement. This model creates a powerful win-win system, as it encourages students to increase their consumption of healthy whole foods while also helping businesses advertise. FreshFlow will partner with universities to get products into the hands of college students by placing pop-up stands in high-traffic areas around the campus, such as student unions, outside the library, etc. This method allows students to quickly grab a free FreshFlow box conveniently and builds it into student routines. Competitors may include food banks or plain grocery stores. FreshFlow’s competitive advantage lies in the fact that fruits and vegetables are provided completely for free, unlike with grocery stores. While most food banks use low-cost, low-quality food, FreshFlow makes sure to provide 100% all organic, all natural, fruits and vegetables. Additionally, FreshFlow uses completely biodegradable paper cardboard to package products, unlike other places using cheap, harmful plastic packaging. Others sell food. FreshFlow builds habit.
