  • What is your background?

My name is Teslim Akintunde, the co-founder of Easyagro.com, I am a 24 years old Nigerian, graduated from LAUTECH with B. Tech, Pure and Applied Chemistry.

  • Describe your idea or project in two sentences.

Easyagro.com is an e-commerce marketplace platform targeted to be the major driving force of commerce in Africa's Agricultural sector by bridging the gaps that exists between small holder farmers and other key players in the value chain network e.g the groceries shopping malls ,the urban market trade unions, SMEs in food processing and final consumers. The e-commerce marketplace platform will be powered by solar powered logistics system to reduce wastage and building solar integrated agro-warehouse to reduce wastage.

  • What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

Networking, learning from other entrepreneurs and the platform itself was very interesting.

  • What motivates you to be an entrepreneur?

I am motivated by my empathy for Africans despite being the richest continent in the world potentially, yet our socio-economical problems lingers, I feel I have a role to play in solving these problems by leveraging on entrepreneurship as a tool.

  • Imagine you have ‚supreme power’ to create and innovate: how would your world look like? What changes would you like to make in your community and/or in the world? Share your thoughts from a ‚supreme power’ and entrepreneur standpoint.

I will create true freedom in our society by democratizing prosperity, wealth and abundance. An environment where people's dream can come.

  • What would you say to potential voters who may be reading your interview?

I would say I appreciate you all for your votes.
