1. Please, tell us a bit about yourself: where are you from and what is your background?

My name Oday Samad, I am from Lebanon and South Africa, I am not sure if that I am eligible to apply.
I am social Entrepreneur working on three registered projects in concept stage
1) - (Emergency awareness - Natural Hazards)
2)- (Road Safety)
3)- (Refugees)

2. Can you describe your idea or project in two sentences?

Distributing Information can save a life.

STAY CALM – THINK – ACT

3. How did you get your idea or concept?

Quoting the Legend Nelson Mandela who fought for humanity by his wisdom.“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference.”

Water in a necessity , Since water is the essence of life and bottled water widely consumed by all ages worldwide… why not use water bottles to spread awareness?

Bottles can carry instructions and direct messages that can guide people on how to act when facing an unexpected situation. It would help in raising awareness and simultaneously you would be helping the people who suffer from such force majeure.

The cost would be minimal compared to the lasting impact it would leave on people’s lives.
The same concept can be applied to other essential products too.

4. What is unique about your idea/project and how does it benefit mankind?

Preparedness information is a necessity for safeguarding people life, using highly demanded products such as bottled water to distribute information could be a solution and save lives.

5. Describe yourself as an entrepreneur in one sentence

It is time to make an impact, it is time make the change people waiting for.

6. How do you deal with people that doubt your abilities/initiatives?

Prove them that they are wrong not by arguing with them, but by actions of success. Actions speak louder than words.

7. Where does your passion lie?

Making impact rather than making money.

 8. What are you afraid of or what keeps you up at night?

Facing time, as there is a necessity for my projects so trying my best to implement them.

9. According to you, money is a synonym for.....

Materialistic.

10. What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

It is good to make a statement, but it is the time to roar and act.

11. What do you like more about the Entrepreneurship Campus?

It's a platform for youth who seeks to make a better future for everyone, who seeks to make an impact rather than just making money, it is a platform for social innovation.

Great project. However, you can explore the use of other methods in bottling your water. Plastic is no longer recommended.
