  • What is your background?

Emmanuel Desmond Mensah, 30 years of age Ghanaian Graduate of University of Cape Coast (Bachelor of Arts, Social Sciences). Name of Project: TRASH CASH

  • Describe your idea or project in two sentences.

To create a society where generated waste would be sold to recycling companies and peasant farmers for money.

  • What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?

Learning from like minded youth across culture. You get the feeling that you are not alone in the fight to make the world a step smiling always.

  • What motivates you to be an entrepreneur?

Knowing that one day I will be the source of smiles because I will create a source of income for some households.

  • Imagine you have ‚supreme power’ to create and innovate: how would your world look like? What changes would you like to make in your community and/or in the world? Share your thoughts from a ‚supreme power’ and entrepreneur standpoint.

My world would be a world where individuals can dream and would have the needed social and financial support to turn each dream into a reality in the interest of mankind.

  • What would you say to potential voters who may be reading your interview?

Life is all about believing that anyone has the ability to change the world. Through your votes, you and I would be making Africa the haven it once was.
