The ZeroTrail Vehicle is an AI-enabled mobile hub that helps manage waste in ecologically fragile regions like the Himalayas. It collects, segregates and connects waste to recyclers, while also offering eco-services to tourists – turning every trip into an opportunity for climate action.

From 196 applications across 66 countries, ZeroTrail was selected as one of this year’s winners, representing the growing global movement for inclusive and sustainable tourism.

Pranav Sharma, featured by Entrepreneurs Street as one of India’s Top Visionary Entrepreneurs at just 19, is a technologist and entrepreneur from Jaipur, whose hometown continues to shape his outlook on innovation and community. At only 20, he continues to lead and build impactful ventures, demonstrating that age is no barrier to creating meaningful change.

After beginning his studies at IIT Guwahati, Pranav embarked on a journey across India to explore entrepreneurial mindsets, innovation, and real-world challenges, gaining insights that would shape his ventures and vision. 

Tariq Wani, while searching for like-minded individuals to bring his vision to life, met Pranav. Recognizing shared passion and purpose, they joined hands to build ZeroTrail. Today, as Chief Technology Officer of ZeroTrail, Pranav leads the creation of an AI-powered platform that collects and segregates waste on-site, connects it to recyclers, and provides eco-services for tourists. Starting in Ladakh, ZeroTrail is more than a business. It is a mission to create scalable recycling solutions for fragile regions across India and beyond. 

Alongside ZeroTrail, Pranav applies his learning across India through multiple ventures, exploring sustainable technology projects such as swappable power banks while leading village learning communities that bring technology and sustainability education to rural youth. He remains open to opportunities, driven by a passion to combine innovation, technology, and community action to create real-world impact.
