My name is Alena. I’m a physics by training and work as automotive engineer in the south of Germany. I was born in the north of Russia (Karelia) and moved to Germany nearly 15 years ago to pursue my academic career. My interests in conscience environmental systems and entrepreneurship triggered the start of a new initiative, kask.bio (2023) using bioconvergence for food up-cycling. Together with my cofounders we are building an ecosystem reshaping food supply chains, towards sustainable usage of food resources, improvement of global carbon foot print while minimizing food waste.
