Description

Happy Hands Pots & Pans or H2P2 addresses environmental, social and economic issues, wrapped in a business model that started from my hobby of painting on unusual surfaces. Through H2P2, we reached out to residential communities in and around Bangalore to collect donations of Teflon-coated pans from households. This makes people aware of the environmental damage they would otherwise create by dumping these pans along with other waste. We have partnered with 3 NGOs that support specially-abled individuals. I mentor them on how to paint and aesthetically transform the worn-out pans into beautiful home decor items. After completing the pans with the desired paintings, our team works on finishing the products including the packaging. Finally, we sell them online and at community gatherings. The net proceeds from the sale are then remitted back to the NGOs we worked with. IDEA OVERVIEW: 1. Company name: Happy Hands Pots & Pans (H2P2) 2. Company Mission: To recycle worn out pots and pans; To train specially-abled people on simplified and innovative ways to paint pots and pans and convert them into home decor items, thereby supporting their mental health; To give the net proceeds from the sale of these beautiful home-decor items to the NGOs taking care of these kids/ adults 4. Company Vision: To make holistic education accessible worldwide while actively contributing to the eradication of environmental pollution from teflon.

Expertise

My expertise extends beyond pan-painting. I love creating visuals - both through Fine Arts and Dance. I started to take formal training in fine arts when I was 5 years old, and the journey never stopped. Besides my creative side, I have been part of my school's student council. This taught me essential leadership and managerial skills, which are vital to any organisation. My past experience as a marketing intern also introduced me to the field of market analysis and research, which has been an instrumental in various contexts. In summary, my expertise spans the arts, project management, research, and business strategy, that can benefit and support a wide range of organizations and initiatives.
