The Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition 2025 is in full swing and is currently in its final and decisive phase: end of public voting. Until 12 August at 11:59 p.m., supporters worldwide can vote for their favourite ideas and help decide which ideas make it to the final. The CEC is more than a competition; it is an international stage for people who want to contribute to solving the major challenges of our time with entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and social commitment.
Global ideas for a sustainable future
The 62 ideas submitted are based on the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and reflect a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial solutions. From educational innovations to circular economies and social platforms, diverse perspectives meet entrepreneurial drive and show what is possible when people around the world take responsibility and get creative.
Taking part is easy – every vote counts
Anyone who would like to vote can do so easily online, with or without prior registration. Every vote counts, because only the ten ideas with the most votes will make it to the next round, where they will be examined in more detail by an independent jury of experts. Our jury evaluates not only the idea itself, but also aspects such as vision, feasibility, innovative strength, impact potential and sustainability.
More than a competition: visibility, feedback & community
Public voting is deliberately an integral part of the competition. After all, it's not just about convincing a jury, but also about getting people excited about an idea, creating visibility and generating resonance. Those who take part not only collect votes, but also gain feedback, reach and a first taste of community building. These are all important elements of entrepreneurial thinking. The opportunity to receive real feedback from a broad and international audience is a valuable step on the path to implementing an idea.
Join now and help shape the future
The Entrepreneurship Foundation cordially invites all interested parties to click through the ideas, select their favourites and thus set an example for future-oriented thinking and responsible action. You still have until 12 August to give this year's CEC idea generators the attention they deserve and help ensure that the best ideas make it to the final round.
Whether as a supporter, mentor or simply as a curious individual, every vote is an impetus for more entrepreneurial diversity, impact and change.
