Billions of automotive tires are disposed every year and most of them end up in landfills. Tires are non-biodegradable and cannot be upcycled easily. However, tires contain unique materials and are considerably durable, resilient and strong. I propose to utilize the unique properties of tires to develop composites for construction applications specifically as supports during construction. Tires will provide the strength, resistance to moisture and resilience required for framework and other applications.

My idea proposes an SDG-based investment pact between former empires and their ex-colonies to replace hidden control and unequal contracts with transparent, eco-friendly, and equal partnerships for sustainable development.
