Sven Ripsas is Professor for Entrepreneurship (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht, HWR Berlin). His central research topics are Entrepreneurship Education (mindset, competences, experimental learning) and the balance between economic and social impact measurement (Social Startup Cockpit). Because of his background as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist he is also an expert on Business Model Development, Startup Financing and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems.

Sven is chairman of the board of the German chapter of the "Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)", a non-profit organization that brings Entrepreneurship education to secondary schools through teacher training.

He is actively involved in startups. At the moment he is part of the DRYBUN.de Team. DRYBUN is a revolution in hair care and was developed by a HWR Berlin alumnus.
